Built in 1978 and initially registered in Sweden as SE-GVN. According to the owner, the aircraft was imported from Sweden to Germany around 1990. Logbooks No. 2 to 4 and the corresponding aircraft records are available continuously from 6 July 1990 to the present. According to the present owner, two previous owners are known; both have since passed away. The complete ownership history prior to 1990 has not yet been confirmed. According to the owner, the aircraft has always been hangared and is currently kept in a heated hangar.
In 2001, the aircraft sustained damage during a hard landing. The documented repair was completed and released to service on 12 March 2003 at 3,374 hours total time. The repair included work to the right wing, lower right fuselage aft of the wing attachment, right main landing gear, right aileron, right flap, right wingtip and right propeller. According to the owner, no other damage is known.
